How to Speed Up a Video on After Effects
If you’re working with video editing in Adobe After Effects and need to speed up a video for various reasons, such as creating a time-lapse or emphasizing motion, this guide will walk you through the process step by step. Speeding up a video in After Effects is a straightforward task, and with a few simple adjustments, you can achieve the desired effect in no time.
Step 1: Import Your Video
First, you need to import the video you want to speed up into After Effects. To do this, go to File > Import > File, and select your video file. Once imported, drag the video into the timeline.
Step 2: Create a New Composition
Next, create a new composition that matches the specifications of your original video. This ensures that the speed adjustment will be applied correctly. To create a new composition, go to Composition > New Composition. Step 3: Apply the Time Remapping Effect
