4. Once the document is selected, click on the trash icon that appears on the top right corner of the document’s preview. This will move the document to the trash.

Deleting a Document in the Mobile App

1. Open the Google Docs app on your smartphone or tablet.

4. Select “Move to trash” from the menu options.
